This year's festival, appropriately themed, "SHINE!" celebrates the winning spirit needed to overcome the many llife challenges thrown at us.
Each night the Festival explores compeling, provocative topics from health issues, relationships, historical characters, family to global matters.
The Festival will be held at the Electric Lodge on Venice Beach. Known for being the nation's only solar powered theatre, it has hosted the Festival for the past three years.
LAWTF has acquired an international reputation for presenting over 400 of some of the most extraordinary works by multicultural women from around the globe in the disciplines of theatre, dance, music, performance poetry, performance art, and storytelling. The women are a diverse group, representing a wide range of ethnic, cultural and religious backgrounds.
