The LAWTF, like many non profits, is in danger of closing it's doors.  However, we are intent on keeping the festival alive.  To achieve that goal, we need you at this very critical time.  

As one of the founders of LAWTF, I have actively watched our non-profit organization “baby” crawl, wobble, stand, walk, and soar. Like a proud parent, my heart is moved by our growth and recognition. We are delighted to announce that come March, 2010, LAWTF will celebrate its 17th Anniversary!!

I want to thank you for supporting our organization. With the generosity of our funders, Board members, performers, teaching artists and volunteers, we have far surpassed our early vision.

It is hard to believe that what began as a passionate group of women solo artists with the mission of collectively supporting each other, we have now:

* Produced over 400 diverse solo artists of excellence from around the globe

* Developed and produced new works in our Wisdom Wednesdays solo writing workshops

* Expanded outreach programming to touch the lives of over 3000 youth in schools

* Crossed mediums to reach television audiences globally through our cable show

* Bestowed over 50 theatre awards to women in theatre

We ask that you remember LAWTF in your giving. We are gearing up for our exciting Festival in March and need your support. We ask that you take a moment to make a PayPal contribution right now.  It can be just that easy.

Donations can be earmarked for our outreach efforts operational needs. Artists for our 17th Anniversary will be coming to celebrate with us from around the country, as well as globally. We want you to be a part of this monumental event. Our mantra is “too fill every seat!” and you can help us attain or goal. You may also earmark your donations for our educational program in the public schools as we continue to serve close to 50 schools.

PayPal Donation  Instructions 1. Before you click the "Donate" button above, you may want to write down the following instructions 1 - 6.   After you click the "Donate" button above you'll be taken to the secure LAWTF/PayPal page. 2. Type the purpose of the donation in the “Purpose” box. 3. Type the amount of the donation in the “Donation Amount” box. 4. Click “Update Total”. 4a. You’ll be taken to the “Donate quickly with PayPal” page. 4b. If you already have a PayPal account you can sign in on the right hand side of the page.  Having a PayPal account just gives you more options for payment. 4c. If you don’t have a PayPal account, on the left side of the page you will see credit card logos.  Just above the logos is a line that reads “Use your credit card or bank account (where available).
