Tajima An-Noor  gives “The Triumph,” a historical play that tracks a slave’s journey from Africa to the New World.

This piece, The Triumph, is the result of an 8 year old school girls question, "What’s the Middle Passage?"  Tajma committed herself to presenting history in a theatrical way.  A Chicago native, this actress-singer-writer-composer-playwright is currently writing a series of short stories entitled The Adventures of T.  The first installment was published this summer in Azizah Magazine.  Ms. An-Noor is a graduate of Cincinnati’s College-Conservatory of Music and the Berklee College of Music.  Some of her regional theatre credits include Kay in Oh Kay!, Claudia in Nine, Sally in Snoopy!, and Jean in Girl Bar. Film and TV credits include The Deep End, The Tiger Woods Story, Dying to Live, The Darwin Conspiracy, Nash Bridges, Pensacola, Renegade, and Silk Stalkings.
