A proud Puerto Rican woman shares the colorful array of Latin women in her life.

Ada Luz Pla has performed in theatres throughout New York , Los Angeles , and England and has appeared in the films El Matador and My Back Yard Was a Mountain. As a writer, she has written several screen plays and wrote and performed a solo show with New York ’s comedy ensemble, Latinas Don’t PMS.” She also wrote and performed sketches with the comedy troop “Hot Tamales Live.”

Ada recently guest starred on The Shield on FX and costarred in the upcoming Indie film Reservation. In 2006 she was the recipient of the Los Angeles Women’s Theatre Festival “Rainbow.” Ada would like to thank Jehovah God, her family, friends, Adilah Barnes, the entire LAWTF familia, Shirley Jo Finney and her dear friend and director Mr. Rich Embardo for all their love and support.
