"Mein Lilly"  

Based on a true love story, this theatre piece looks at the life of a German woman married to a Nazi officer who has a secret love affair with a Jewish woman during World War II.

Stacey Karpen recently appeared in Taylor Mac’s Red Tide Blooming at PS 122 in NY. Credits include Bianca Leigh’s Chick with a Duck at Dixon Place, Cyrano de Bergerac at the Hangar Theatre, and the premiere of Know Dog in the Hangar's Wedge Theatre. A graduate from NYU Tisch’s Experimental Theatre Wing, favorite credits include the role of Gretel in David Neumann’s Hansel und Gretel, Ken Nintzel’s Antidepressant, and Emma Griffen’s Full Circle.  Stacey’s one woman show Mein Lilly has been presented at the NY Solo Play Lab and The Garage Theatre Company.
