“Mama Was a Bad   Muther…Shut Yo Mouth”  

This piece, set in Omaha , Nebraska , takes a look at one woman’s wild mother, using a moving and grooving house party as the backdrop for her mother’s world.

Fylicia Renee King  hails from the great City & State of Omaha , Nebraska . Known by friends and family as Fee. She has been honing her craft in Los Angeles for seven years. In that period of time, Fylicia has appeared on The Shield, The Bold & The Beautiful, "Cryptz," a straight-to video film, several independent shorts, her very own 1-Woman Show, ten stage plays, voice-over radio spots and numerous National T.V. commercials.

By taking her career in her own hands; she wrote, performed and produced her 1-Woman show, "Momma Was A Mad Mutha... Shut Yo Mouth", where she portrayed (13) characters. It garnered her a COLSAC Theater Best Supporting Actress Award in 2003. In 2004 she won the preliminary round of "15-Minutes of Fem V," for her original 1-Woman Show; which she performed at the Egyptian Theater in Hollywood . Additionally, she completed a 6-week run at Masquers Cabaret. In 2005, her 1-woman show was nominated for an NAACP "Best Lead Actress" Theater Award.

In 2003, Fylicia Renee- King , conceived and wrote "KIDD FIT," a children-s Variety/Fitness.."KIDD FIT". The format is edutainment. Young people are taught, in a fun & hip way, about the epidemics of Diabetes Type II,Chilhood Obesity; as well as how to plan nutritious meals, proper ways of exercising and self-confidence building skills. Kidd Fit deals with how these topics have an affect on our young people, as well as creating a platform where children have a voice.

She attributes her drive and determination to her spiritual faith, her love of the art form called acting and the tremendous support she receives from her family and friends.
